We don't have a shop, on purpose. Every device goes straight to a secure private warehouse, never a public counter, so nobody's Mac sits behind an unlocked door. Here's exactly what happens once you've said yes.
A courier comes to you
Free, nationwide. 1 working day if you're in Joburg or Pretoria, 2 working days for other major cities, up to 5 working days if you're properly off the beaten track. Would rather drop it off yourself? We can arrange that at Platinum Repairs, Sandton (by arrangement), just message us first.
It arrives, and the clock starts
Give it 24 working hours to land if you're in Joburg, 48 working hours if you're anywhere else, before you start wondering where it got to.
We check it matches what you told us
Every device gets assessed against your own description, usually within 1-3 working days. If it matches, that's the end of the story. If we find a real fault you didn't mention, we call or message you, explain it, and adjust the price fairly. We never just dock it quietly and hope you don't notice.
You're paid within 5 working days of that
Once your offer's confirmed, payment runs go out at 4pm every working day. Or skip the wait for cash and take it as a 12% trade-in voucher on EpicDeals.co.za instead.

Can I ask about my specific device first?↓
Absolutely. WhatsApp is your best bet for a quick chat. Share as much detail as you can, model, condition, storage, battery health, and we'll give you an honest read before you commit to anything.
What if my device is locked, or still has my data on it?↓
Account-locked devices: please unlock it remotely (iCloud, Google, etc.) before sending it. If it arrives locked, you'll be charged R250 for courier return.
Personal data: back up anything you need first. All devices are factory reset, and we do not make backups or recover data under any circumstances.
